KOKO HOTEL Kagoshima Tenmonkan

I liked the laundry room at the first floor and the smoking room was on 1st floor, not that I smoked. The rooms were not smokey, and very clean, with all the amenity available on the first floor. The restaurant is on the first floor too but it wasn't open when I wanted to go. Super tip. The dentist is next door and they took me as a walk-in, for basic cleaning. It was only 5000 yen for the complete check and clean. You might have to schedule in advance but why not spend 1 hour to get a refresher on your gums, tartar and plaque built up. The restaurant down the street is super delicious in the alley way and super close by. So, for the price of the hotel and location it's superb! Great way to dine and drink super close by, and also away from main roads. The hotel itself isn't super impressive but overall it's fantastic

We appreciated the locality, the hotel is very close to the central part, easily accessible by public transport. The area was quiet though. The room was rather small but it was as described. The staff was friendly.

Very good value for money, especially for solo travellers. It has everything you need for a couple of nights stay. The view from the rooms is great, bedding nice, everything is useful, the staff is really nice and helpful. Location is great! You can clean your clothes, the breakfast is great (I would recommend it for one morning and then try the surrounding restaurants). Wifi is free. I booked for one night and extended to four nights!
